A dedicated acetate line in Amata City, Samut Prakan, lets US-bound orders ship from Thailand instead of China, with meaningful duty savings for many brands.

One team, two countries
The factory is a 50/50 joint venture with Weilan Optical (Thailand), managed by the same Chinese CIC team that runs Heyuan: same training, same QC, same tolerances.

Audited and ready to scale
SMETA-audited by LRQA in April 2025 (file TH 306957). Reserved land and resources take the line from 50,000 frames a month at opening towards 150,000 by 2027.
